Wouldn't be nice to wake up and do just what you want every day? Maybe that's one reason why people want to be artist do it yourselfer. No rush hour commute racing to beat the time clock so our boss doesn't dock our pay because we didn't want to come to work on time. No Boss telling us what we need to do each day. Come and go as we please form the office/studio as we please and artists take vacation when every they like right? who would like that? Well, maybe in fairyland people can live like that. If anyone has a map to get there I'd love to borrow it permanently. Can I mail it back?
So I like most other people get up and go to work. I have a job and a time card. Luckily, I work at a community college and I even get to run the art studios there. Yes I'm a studio tech, but I get a pay check even when my work isn't selling. What do I do to keep my mind working when I want to have that fairyland lifestyle? I have many thing but one of my favorite is Pinterest. I can brows ideas from other people, Find a recipe for dinner and see place Id like to go if I ever become a millionaire, and all on my lunch break. This is a great way to jump start the brain storming process when your stumped or looking for how to tips and ideas if you want to test yourself and see if you can become a successful Do it yourselfer. This is a sharing mecca. if your not willing to share, your going to fill like a guy who got left in the closet while playing hide and seek.
